The much awaited fifth novel, Skull Days, in the D, I. Ambrose series was published in 2024, by Stairwell Books. Skull Days joined the series that begins with Foul Play, followed by Poison Pen, Close Disharmony and Poetic Justice.

Early drafts of the sixth novel, working title, Clocking Off, have been completed. This book will probably appear in Late 2026.

Skull Days is the first of the DI Ambrose Novels to to be formally represented by Gardners, the prime UK distributor.
